Alberto-Culver Co. completed its acquisition of West Coast Beauty Supply Co. for an unspecified sum. President and chief executive Howard Bernick said he expects the purchase to add about $140 million in sales over the rest of fiscal 2004.West Coast will add more than 220 professional sales consultants and more than 120 stores in 14 western states, raising Alberto-Culver’s Beauty Systems Group’s staff to more than 1,200 with 650 stores.
